Statement
Painting landscapes pushes me to look at my environment with sensitive eyes- the morning sunlight sparkling on the dew covered grass, the deep shadows of a majestic tree, and always the ever-changing luminosity of clouds. How can I capture that in a special way? What colors would I mix to get that shade of green? What color is that shadow really?
I find many of my paintings contain roads or paths. Wanting to take the viewer on a journey to a special place. Pulling you in to share my vision of clouds, fields, sunlight and shadows. Creating images that highlight the beauty of nature. Playing with light.
